Battle of Hastings 940th Anniversary Re-enactment

Images from the 940th Anniversary of the Battle of Hastings Re-enactment are now available in the Battle gallery. The re-enactment is a regular event, held every year on the weekend nearest the 14th October, the actual date of the Battle of Hastings in 1066. The event is run by the English Heritage, at Battle Abbey, with up to 2,000 participants on each side.
